John Cena Injured, Will he face Ryback at Extreme Rules? & The Future

John Cena Injured, Will he face Ryback? & The Future

WWE.com Posted an article today stating the following:

"WWE.com has learned that WWE Champion John Cena sustained an injury during WWE's European tour. The WWE Champion injured his right Achilles tendon while battling Ryback.
The injury raises questions about the scheduled match between Cena and Ryback at Extreme Rules on May 19. What lies ahead for the Cenation leader? Does this put Ryback one step closer to capturing the WWE Title? There are no details yet about Cena's expected recovery time.
For more, stay with WWE.com and tune in to Monday’s Raw at 8/7 CT on USA Network"

If this is the case then I feel very sorry for WWE. They havent had the best of luck with injuries over the past month or so with Triple H, Brock Lesnar,CM Punk and The Rock all getting injured or having some type of injury following Wrestlemania 29. Now WWE champion John Cena has hurt his Achilles Tendon. I hope that John Cena does not have as serious a injured as rumoured and that he is able to carry on and continue to be WWE champion.

Accordingly to www.Patient.co.uk

"Depending on the type of work, some people need several weeks off work after an Achilles tendon rupture, and the time taken to return to sport is between 4 and 12 months"
Obviously at this point we do not know how bad John Cena Injury is or whether it is a rupture or not or whether this is a less serious injury however this does beg a very interesting question if John Cena can get through he match at extreme rules and then has to take 4 months off for example who do you  out in his place to face Ryback?

WWE would be losing their biggest merchandise seller and their biggest babyface too,. This would be an incredibly difficult situation for WWE. These are the options as I see them right now

CM Punk

I mentioned Punk in my last blog and whether The Sheild would be a good fit for him. Now due to circumstances would WWE ask Punk to come back as a Babyface and Face Ryback and carry on the program? CM Punk is a big merchandise seller and is just behind Cena in that regard. So WWE doing this would make sense - however you wouldn't want to rush punk back to action too soon if he is not ready.

Randy Orton

Randy Orton could be the man to really help WWE out of a difficult situation. Orton has not been used much in title matches in the last few months and has been kept away from the Main event title scenes. Alot of people would say that this is due to his wellness violations, but whatever the case Orton is a great Wrestler, A Great Hand and his wrestling is crisp and impeccable. If WWE wants someone who is ready to go and wants to get back to the top of his game don't be surprised to see Orton vs Ryback.

Sheamus

Sheamus is the safe and really the most obvious choice for me. Sheamus is already a babyface and already has momentum. If you have Sheamus beat Mark Henry at Extreme Rules then have him go on to face Ryback. Sheamus and Ryback i think could have a good program with each other and I think now Sheamus has had a good few years of main event experience and Sheamus would be able to lead Ryback to some good matches. Sheamus also has that experience of working long programs with wrestlers like the Big Show so Sheamus would know how to keep the matches interesting and enging for the WWE Universe.

This year 30 Man Royal Rumble match has alot of intrigue built into it most people are of the opinion that John Cena will be winning this years event and then go on to face The Rock at Wrestlemania. AEW All Elite Wrestling to Sky Sports in The UK?

AEW  All Elite Wrestling to Sky Sports in The UK?  All Elite Wrestling airs in the UK on ITV 4 on a Friday night and ITV Hub (Itv on demand service should be uploaded on a Thursday) ITV don't air AEW Dynamite live and a separate subscription has to be purchased via Fite.TV if fans wish to do this.  Initially things started off OK although @itvwrestling had difficulties getting Dynamite on ITV Hub on time (they promised Thursdays at 7pm) usually this was up on a Friday morning. However as the weeks went on the uploading to ITV hub did not get any better and as of this writing its as worse as it has ever been they don't upload the episodes consistently which is leaving many fans frustrated and ITV Wrestling haven't been communicating with fans. @ITV Wrestling haven't tweeted about AEW since Dec 5th - they haven't updated any of their graphics since Full Gear and ITV wrestling now seem totally disconnected from the fans and from my perspective th

Strike Wrestling Results Bournemouth May 20th 2018   Hello Wrestling fans! Welcome to the first ever Strike Wrestling Results blog!  I went to Bournemouth and took x2 trains and a bus to get there and it was well worth the effort. Before I get to the wrestling a bit about Bournemouth Bournemouth is a beautiful town it was a sunny hot day. I managed to go to the beach and see the pier and get a great view from Bournemouth on top of the cliffs, where there were also many of great restaurants and places to eat. Check out my on the road video on Strike Wrestling by clicking the video below! This was my first show at Strike Wrestling and Strike is an over 18’s show so I was expecting a different vibe, feel and presentation to family orientated wrestling that I have attended in the past. Strike wrestling is high paced, hard hitting, fast action but with a huge streak of entertainment, fun and having a great time.   From where I was
