Road to Royal Rumble & Wrestlemania 29

Road to Royal Rumble & Wrestlemania 29

Here we are its that time of the year.....and No I'm not talking about Christmas or New year for Wrestling fans the most exciting time of the year is coming The Road to The Royal Rumble and Then the Road to Wrestlemaina!!!

Its this time of year that the plans for the biggest wrestling event of the year come together are formulated and played out in front of all the fans and the world to see. What will we see this year though? Its hard to predict what potential matches might be.

All Wrestling fans have an opinion on what they think Wrestlemania 29 will look like for me here's what I think me might see at Wrestlemania.

As Always what is written is just my opinion of What I would like to see not necessarily what WWE will have as there card for Wrestlemania. This year also I will be attending Wrestlemania live and it will be my first Wrestlemania event so here's 3 matches that i would like to see.....

WWE Championship
CM Punk vs The Rock vs John Cena
I think this match would make perfect sense. Last Year we had a year's build to Rock vs Cena in a match that the rock won at Wrestlemania 27. This year CM Punk will take on The Rock at The Royal Rumble for the WWE Title. I think That CM punk Will retain either by DQ or by Cheating his way to keep the WWE title, Rock will want a rematch.
John Cena Will win the Royal Rumble to gain a title shot plus he can talk about how he wants revenge after his loss at Wrestlemania 27 then WWE can mesh these three together for the big match at Wrestlemania.
I don't think Three way matches are boring or can be difficult to manage. I think if you have the superstars and the right mindset any match can be brilliant. Also Wrestlemania 22 had a stellar 3 way match between Kurt Angle, Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio it proves that awesome 3 way matches can be done on the big stage.
The Streak
The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar
This match makes all the sense in the world to me. HHH said recently on RAW that we have not seen the last of the Undertaker,
Brock and Undertaker have faced each other in the past in WWE when Brock had his first run in WWE. Since Brock Left and eventually then went to work in UFC, Undertaker has declared that he has always been a UFC fan. There was a famous incident when Undertaker who has being interviewed after one of Brock's UFC fights had Brock walk past him and Undertaker allegedly said to Lesnar "want to do it?"
Since that moment there has been rumours that Undertaker vs Lesnar might happen in a WWE ring again. I Think if WWE used the history between these two plus the huge physical threat that Lesnar poses to the streak that this match could be huge. Keep in mind as well that the last time we saw Brock Lesnar he was destroying HHH in the middle of the ring at Summerslam. Lesnar can be viewed as a legit threat to the streak and if doubt of whether Undertaker can Beat Lesnar or not is there it adds tot he unpredictability of this match and of the outcome of it.
WWE Tag Team Championship Match
New Age Outlaws vs Rhodes Scholars (C)
I don't care what anyone says you might well think I'm crazy but I'm a massive New Age Outlaws fan and have been since i was a kid. Road Dogg and Billy Gunn are both now working in WWE and recently competed in a House show match with Rhodes Scholars, I think that The New Age Outlaws have one more run left in them and both Road Dogg and Billy are in great shape physically - they don't look like they have missed a beat - its fantastic to see!!
I think that they could be of huge benefit to the WWE tag Team Division and really help elevate the new Teams that have been formed in WWE and help them reach a higher level. I think that Rhodes Scholars will win the Tag Titles from Team Hell No before Wrestlemania and Declare themselves better than every other Tag Team that existed...That's the Cue for The New Age Outlaws to enter and kick off this feud. I would love to see The Outlaws have one last run with the tag team titles and I truly believe given the opportunity they will have a run with the titles in 2013 but at Wrestlemania this would be the ideal time to solidify what is already a great team of Sandow and Rhodes.

CM Punk: WWE title Streak Does it matter?

CM Punk: WWE title Streak Does it matter?

After Watching Pro Wrestling Report Primetime and hearing the discussion in the PWR Extra Segment Between Dameon Nelson and David Herro Regarding CM Punk and whether his WWE title Streak of 365 days really means anything.

You can view The PWR PrimeTime Saturday Episode Below

I am a wrestling fan. Im not a wrestling expert and nor do I claim to be one! this is my opnion as a fan and my thoughts on what I see - With that said take a look a the blog below and see what you think!!! :)

David  Herro is adamant that the title streak does not mean anything and when looked at from a historical perspective its hard to argue with. As David stated on Primetime Punk has had Feuds with Alberto Del Rio, Chris Jericho, John Cena, Ryback over his last year as champion - only one of those feuds are memorable to me as a fan. As a fan I make a connection to the Storytelling and the matches as they are presented and the one that stood out was with Chris Jericho.

Chris Jericho made me want to see this match due to his overbearing Behaviour and his strong comments towards CM Punk and his family. To me this made me dislike Jericho alot more and then wanting to see Jericho get beaten up by Punk at Wrestlemania.

But Sorry I digressed......

Although I do not think Many of Punk Feuds have been memorable and with a statement like that you would think I would say that his reign as champion means nothing but.....#HeresTheThing your wrong.....

I think the streak is the most important thing going in Wrestling right now and here is why

The Rock Announced at Raw 1000 that he is going to be at the Royal Rumble 2013 and that he will face whoever is the WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble.

In order for this match to mean as much as it can it is vital that CM Punk title reign stay intact until then. David Herro said on Primetime

"They are only doing this for The Rock - What else do they have?"

David was not saying this from a wrestling skills perspective, nor a promo perspective but I think from a wrestling storyline perspective and its a viewpoint I agree with because without it CM Punk would  be another WWE Champion.

Think Back to the feuds mentioned earlier if CM Punk Did not have the streak right now would a potential match up with The Rock at Royal Rumble mean as much?

Punk is now the Cowardly heel bad guy that along with Paul Heyman will do everything he can to hold onto his WWE title and keep his championship reign alive.

Then in the opposite corner you have The Rock the people's champion the wrestler who wants to win the title for the Millions and Millions of The Rock's Fans. From My perspective I think The WWE Title run is so important right now because it will mean so much more when CM Punk does lose the belt  Whether it be The Rock or  to Someone else further down the line, it helps CM Punk right now (and gives Heyman a great job to do holding the belt also!!!)

Hello All! Hope everyone is well! Lets dive right into this one Since there has been a Renascence of Sorts with the WWE Tag Team Division. I have Been thinking about ..... Some of my favourite Tag Teams growing up watching Wrestling.

Now keep in mind I started watching Wrestling as a 5 or 6 year old kid around 1991/1992. At The Time We could not afford any SKY Pay TV at Home (WWE/WWF Was and still is shown on SKY and it has a monthly subscription cost) It was my friends that first got me to watch wrestling. My Friends Older brother had lots of Wrestling Videos however....he would only let us watch the videos with events from 1980's he would not let us watch anything from the current time. It annoyed me so much as a kid but looking back it was the BIGGEST Favour my Friends older brother did otherwise I would not of seen so many classic Tag Team and WWE bouts and learnt about the awesome stars of the 1980's as a 5/6 year old kid!

So today I would like to focus on one of the Tag Teams that caught my imagination as a young kid.....

Axe and Smash of Demolition were one of my favourite tag teams to watch. I was always a WWE (WWF) kid growing up and Watching 1980's wrestling as mentioned above was a blessing in disguise otherwise I would not of seen Demolition. Demolition stuck me as a kid they came through the screen at me - there theme music was awesome, they had cool face paint, A great look and an awesome Finishing move. To me as a kid i remember watching them and being glued to the screen. One Match that i remember in particular is 1989 Royal Rumble. Although not a tag team match this was one of the first big WOW moments as a kid. We popped the 1989 Royal Rumble VHS on the screen and when we got to the Rumble Match Out First came Demolition AXE then we waited for the 2nd Entrant.....Demolition Music hit again and out came Demolition SMASH!! I thought in my young mind that they would both wait in the ring for the next competitor beat him up then do the same until everyone else was eliminated and in my first OMG moment Smash and Axe fought each other. Its a fun wrestling memory for me and a great memory of a fabulous tag team. The best Version of Demolition to me was Axe and Smash. Crush came in later on and did a good job and I still loved seeing Smash on TV. No disrespect to Crush (who sadly is no longer with us) but the new combination never felt the same to me.
As I grew older (26 now!) I Think that Demolition Axe and Smash should of had a longer run I think that there was more that could of been done with the Tag Team and did not feel in 1991 when the team was disbanded that Demolition had run its course. Demolition to me was a star in a golden age of Wrestling Tag Teams. Demolition made their matches entertaining and so memorable to me as a little kid!!!
See The video below on one of my first wrestling memories!!!
Royal Rumble 1989 Axe vs Smash
Also the other Great Demolition Memory was Wrestlemania 4 Demolition beating Strike Force for the WWF Tag Team Titles. Remember Really liking this match from Wrestlemania 4. Also Mr Fuji with Demolition was fantastic as well!!
Demolition vs Strikeforce
Demolition Wins the Tag Team Titles
Demolition still wrestle today and they are the current GLCW (Great Lakes Championship Wrestling g) Tag Team Champions and they will be appearing on GLCW Next Event Blizzard Brawl 8 Taking place in Waukesha, Wisconsin at The Waukesha County Expo Centre get your tickets here
Also Demolition have been Inducted into the GLCW Hall of Fame. Pro Wrestling Report (@pwrshow on Twitter) Host Dameon Nelson presented them with this Honor in the middle of the GLCW ring. Smash and Axe of Demolition are both on Twitter and Smash can be followed @realdemosmash and Axe can be followed @realdemoaxe.

CM Punk vs Ryback - Hell in a Cell 2012

CM Punk vs Ryback - Hell in a Cell 2012

Hello All

Everything written below is my opinion and is written from my perspective as a wrestling fan. I'm not a wrestling expert and have never claimed to be one. My thoughts on What I feel could happen this Sunday at Hell in a Cell! Hope you Enjoy - Thanks for Reading

WWE Hell in a Cell is this Sunday 28th October 2012 and one match seems to of caught the imagination of the fans more than any other CM Punk vs Ryback. There are lots of different views out there Punk should Win, Ryback should Win, someone should interfere and cost Ryback. This match has got people talking more than any other just due to the fact that it feels unpredictable. Everyone is thinking what will WWE decide to do here?

Its a question with no easy answer but WWE put themselves in this position a month or so ago when they had Ryback standing over Mick Foley at the end of Raw. Of course this all came about as John Cena had elbow Surgery and WWE were not sure whether Cena would be able to compete or not. As it turned out WWE did not think Cena  would be "ready to go" so Ryback is inserted into the match to face the WWE Champion. Ryback was for me a strange choice but the only choice if you look at the WWE roster there was no other "face" (Good Guy) character WWE could of used.

Since the Debut of Ryback (formally Skip Sheffield in the Nexus) he has been plagued by the chants of "Goldberg" and also been likened to Current TNA and former WWE Superstar Rob Van Dam due to his ring attire, those chants at the beginning were loud and Ryback was doing lots of "Squash" matches (Where one Superstar dominates another in a match) these were very similar to what Goldberg used to do in his matches in WCW leading up to him winning the WCW Title. Did I think Ryback deserved those chants? No He is his own wrestler and he goes out there like any WWE wrestler and goes out and does what the WWE asks hm to do.

What Decision Will Vince McMahon make This Sunday?
So What Would I do on Sunday at Hell in a Cell?

CM Punk has been on a run of close to a year of being WWE Champion along with Paul Heyman who joined him. Being the Best in World and Being on a long title run has been CM Punk main talking point in his promos and Interviews over the past few months. For Punk to lose on Sunday would kill that aspect and also kill the notion of him being the self proclaimed "Best In the World" now before Cena got injured it was all about CM Punk Proving he was best in the world by taking on John Cena to prove it.

If Punk loses Sunday and regains the WWE Title back on Raw the next night I think It takes away from the match itself at Hell in A Cell and makes the impression of achievement by Ryback alot less therefore hurting him more and making Ryback look weaker. It also takes away from CM Punk. That theory to me is out of the window.

Ready to Reurn Cena Could be a Factor this Sunday

I'v heard the other side of this also "if Ryback loses he is no longer undefeated his run is over" first of all Ryback got this opportunity because John Cena got injured if John did have elbow surgery Ryback would not have been involved in this at all. Ryback character has been elevated by being in this feud and now instead of fans chanting Goldberg they are now chanting "Feed me More" and alot of fans are really behind him which has helped him and his momentum the old expression "You cant have a great Babyface without a great heel" really applies here.

If it were me I'd book it like this since there is no easy finish with a Hell in the Cell Match there must be a winner or a loser so with NO DQ's/Countouts here's what Id do....
  •  On Raw this week it was announced that John Cena is ready to return for "in Ring Competition"
  • Brock Lesnar attacks Ryback before the match in the Backstage Area  (The Brock Lesnar Idea was given to me by my friend @hilleard13)
  • Vince Mcmahon  then decides on PPV to put John Cena Into the Match
  • Punk vs Cena takes place in the Hell in The Cell for WWE title as Originally Planned
Brock and Ryback can then pick with their story on Raw the next night and Cena/Punk can continue and this leaves Ryback unaffected so he can take on Brock Lesnar. Everyone wins. No I'm not saying this is how it will pan out it could go in many different directions however this match does end it will be interesting viewing for us all on Sunday at Hell in A Cell

Zack Ryder: A Situation he cant win

Zack Ryder: A Situation he cant win

Everything written below is my opinion as a wrestling fan. Im not a wrestling expect nor do i proclaim to be one this is just my opinion on a situation in the wrestling world!
I saw today tweets from Zack Ryder nothing out of the ordinary here is one of his tweets from Thursday11 October 2012 he states in his tweet "hope WWE doesn't Edit this weeks Z True Long Island Story"
Then on from this Zack sends another tweet stating
"WWE Rejected this weeks episode - its going to suck"
Then from having an episode on Thursday Zack the states late on Friday that there will be No Episode this week. I must admit i feel really sorry for Zack Ryder. Here is a guy a few years ago after his run in the Edgeheads that Creative had Nothing for. So taking a chance and a risk he decided to get creative, use his on Brain and try and give himself a break.
Through his hard work and help from other wrestlers like CM Punk and John Cena Zack's Z True Long Island Story took off with a bang. Suddenly Ryder had over 100000 people watching his show every week. Fans would tune into his youtube channel to see what he was doing and it was looking like WWE suddenly not of nowhere have a huge star on thier hands. To the WWE also not only was a new star being born but a new guy who's different and cool merchandise could be produced that WWE could sell as well.
Zack was Produced a lot of merchandise from T shirts to clocks. Zack at one point was equalling John Cena (I Think) in the amount of merchandise produced for one person. Zack was on a roll and this culminated in my mind to this very memorable moment.
Fans Chanting at The Rock Woo Woo Woo/We Want Ryder
Survivor Series 2011 the crowd was hot all night as a New York City Crowd always is. Zack Ryder name is being chanted by the fans to The Rock who just grabbed the mic following his match. The Chant was so loud that The Rock  had to Acknowledge it. What a huge moment a guy who only a few years previous was looking at being let go in WWE then Fast forward to 2011 and the fans are chanting his name to one of the biggest stars in the industry,
Zack had a run with the US title and held this for a little while. But once he lost the US title he was back at doing nothing again. WWE started their own Youtube channel and Z True Long Island Story was included in this new channel. I think this is where it has got more difficult for Zack. Since he show is now WWE produced and videos must go through WWE before going on Youtube. Zack states that videos get edited and not as he presented them. Before this Zack was his own producer and could make the videos what he wanted. Herein lies the issue for Zack Ryder.
Zack turned himself into a recognisable superstar to alot of the fans and made himself relevant to WWE fans he managed to connect with an audience so whats the problem I hear you ask? The Problem is this  WWE didn't creative Zack Ryder they didn't come up with the idea of Z True Long Island Story and WWE didn't creative the buzz that Zack Created. If you look back through history WWE has Never pushed anything that they or Vince Mcmahon didn't create. Kevin Nash said in an interview that when the NWO was put back Together in 2002 before Hall. Nash and Hogan debuted on TV they spoke to each other and the 1st thing they said was "Vince Wont push what he didn't create" and sure enough NWO debut at No Way Out in 2002 after Wrestlemania 18 those original 3 guys were split up.
In my view I think the feeling is in the WWE  the Attention on Zack Ryder is taking away from so and so. Which is why i think Ryder did not make many appearances on Raw over the past few months. For me wheres the logic in that?
I feel sorry for Zack Ryder he had an idea, made it a reality and turned it into a success. Sometimes though no matter what you do you just cant win.

Give him the Ball - Mr Anderson...Anderson

Give him the Ball - Mr Anderson.....Anderson

Before I begin what I'll write here is my opinion as a wrestling fan, I'm not a wrestling expert and nor do I claim to be, This is merely my opinion from what I see on TV and from Interviews and Quotes of the subject themselves. This is just my opinion and thoughts so enjoy!!!

Hello All I'm back again today with something that has been on my mind for the past few days as many of you who follow me on twitter (@jon422002) Will know I'm a massive Fan of Impact Wrestling Ken Anderson formally know as Mr Kennedy in WWE.  Mr Anderson has always been entertaining to me, I enjoy his attitude promos and what he says. Plus he has great Tshirts and I own lots of them!!

A man with all this skill I don't feel has been used to his potential since he arrived in TNA. He has had some great moments but I don't think TNA have even scratched the surface of the brilliant talent that they have. I Don't believe that is down to the man himself, Nor can you blame it all on TNA it seems to be a combination of factors which has led to the skills that he has not be recognised as they should (in my opinion) Lets take a look at Ken Anderson's Departure from WWE and Transition into TNA Wrestling and how the ball was given to have then snatched away just as quickly

Lets go Back in time  if you will to  25th May 2009 Mr Kennedy as he is known then Returns to WWE from Injury and takes part in a 10 Man Tag Team Match on Raw Below is a promo he did before that match on Raw.

Following  this Match  the next day WWE release Mr Kennedy. Ken talked about the situation in depth on with David Herro and Dameon Nelson  and Gave with 1st interview since being released. He Explains what happened and what took place Click the video below to Listen

In the days since his release from WWE in 2009 he started doing videos on Youtube and these were in my opinion truly brilliant these were videos that he did while he was waiting out his 90 day no complete clause below is Episode 3 (this is one of my favourites!!)

Then in In January 2010 he Joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.
He Returned at the Genesis  2010 PPV having changed his name to Mr. Anderson. he wrestled Abyss on the PPV and beat him via Pinfall. Anderson then debuted on  Impact on January 21 2010. When this took place I was so happy to see Mr Anderson in TNA thought this could be a great place for him to become TNA champion and to carry of the amazing work that he has started previously.

Mr Anderson TNA debut

It started off Brilliant for us as fans and for Ken himself when the first feud that he engaged in was with Kurt Angle. this centred about Ken using the dog tags that Kurt Angle would wear around his neck. I remember being excited for these matches and looking forward to them. Also a remember a great promo from Mr Anderson where he dressed up as Kurt Angle to Mock him. Ken was brilliant and it was showing the fans in the arena and at home how entertaining he is and the different elements to his character that he possesses.

Following this feud with Kurt Angle Mr Anderson had a feud with Jeff Hardy and delivered one of the best promos - where the coined the phrase "Anderson's Assholes" this promo took place at TNA Sacrifice in May 2010. This is Anderson at his best brilliantly delivered, Funny, Entertaining and catches your attention. In my opinion its was the promo of the year !!

Anderson Assholes Promo

Fast forwarding along to January  9th 2011 At TNA Genesis a year after he debuted with TNA Mr Anderson defeats Matt Morgan in a Number one Contenders Match Following this match and on the same night Mr Anderson faced Current Champion Jeff Hardy. Mr Anderson Defeats Hardy and is TNA champion. I remember thinking this is going to be great - Mr Anderson as champion. Unfortunately and for reasons still unknown Mr Anderson loses the World Title Less than a month later on Feb 13th 2011 at Against All Odds to Jeff Hardy. It was very frustrating Ken was just getting started as Champion and is given the ball by the company then in less than a month its all change again. I really felt for Anderson didn't seem fair that he really wasn't given a chance at all to show what he could do as champion and what he could bring to the table as champion.

But again Mr Anderson Delivers a great promo as you can see below. After Winning the Championship Mr Anderson gave this promo talking his character and WWE.

Following on from this  Anderson Then got into a feud with Sting and dressed up as Sting from the early 90's On June 12th 2011 at Slammiversary , Anderson  beat Sting after interference to win Sting's TNA Heavyweight championship. After this happened I thought  Anderson will hold this longer than his first title reign surely Anderson will now be given hi s chance to shine and be able to have a long run with the title belt. However my faith was mis-placed and again Anderson title reign was cut  short My frustration/anger  with TNA Management at this point  was at boiling point!!

On July 7  Impact  Immortal the big heel group led by Eric Bischoff at the time forced Anderson to choose whether he was with them or against them. Anderson at the time was a good guy a face and I thought that TNA would keep him this way. From What I heard his mechanise was selling well and the fans were with him and what he was doing

In my head I thought there is no way Anderson will join Immortal ....However TNA booked it, Anderson  joined Immortal. In the process again in my opinion they destroyed everything that Anderson had built, the merchandise he was selling and his character.  On July 14 on Impact Anderson lost the TNA Title  to Sting. Mr Anderson 2nd Title reign lasted 2 weeks.....I couldn't believe it. Mr Anderson's Two title reigns combined in TNA came to 6 Weeks - how on earth is he able to show what he can do not only that but as I described above TNA destroyed the face Character  Merchandise sales and Storyline continuity for 2 weeks I couldn't understand what they were doing again another case of giving Mr Anderson the ball and pulling it away before he had a chance to run with it.

Anderson Last match of 2011 was On November 13 at TNA PPV Turning Point where Anderson and Abyss defeated  Bully Ray and Scott Steiner. Mr Anderson was then off TV for 4 Months whether this was because TNA didn't use him during this time or he had time off for outside projects I don't know what the case was.

Since Mr Anderson return in  March 2012 he has been involved in a tag team match with partner AJ Styles vs Daniels and Kazarian and also been involved in a Lethal Lockdown match at TNA PPV lockdown. Then very recently in September 2012 Mr Anderson lost a match to Samoa Joe on Impact for the TNA TV title.  Following this on 4 October Impact Mr Anderson was attacked by the heel group Aces&Eights as he was chosen by Sting to become his tag partner vs Aces&Eights at TNA Bound For Glory 2012.

My opinion looking back at his TNA career so far Mr Anderson should of been given more of a chance to show what he can do. You can be the greatest wrestler in the world but if the company that you work for changes direction too many times, make the wrong choices or don't have a direction to begin with it can really hurt a great wrestler and that's what I feel has happened to Mr Anderson so far. TNA can right the wrongs and I have no doubt that given the ball and given the chance to run with it - without anyone taking it away too quickly.Mr Anderson can be one of the greatest champions in wrestling.

Mic Off....The Release of AW

Mic Off....The Release of AW

AW With Darren Young
As always the views expressed here are my own I'm not a wrestling "expert" and don't claim to be one. I'm a wrestling fan expressing an opinion on a situation. Please read and enjoy Thank you.

AW Official Release from WWE

Last night I heard the news that AW - Abraham Washington has been released from the WWE.
below is WWE official Release statement regarding AW.

The statement of the website reads

"WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar A.W. as of today, August 10, 2012. WWE wishes A.W. the best in all his future endeavours"

Presumably this stems from his comments from WWE RAW when he mentioned Kobe Bryant. Now not being American and Living in the UK when I saw that Initially It didn't resonate with me when I heard Michael Cole after the PrimeTime Players match Apologising for the comments of AW I didn't think much of it.....Until I went to Twitter and then it become apparent to me what AW had said and what he was referring too.

My first thought was if not authorised by WWE why on earth would you say anything about the Kobe Bryant Incident? Was AW trying to get more people to boo the Primetime Players? or was it something he said to entertain himself? No Matter the reason he shouldn't of said it the Kobe Bryan Hotel Incident is not something to make to joke about. Why Would you think of saying something like that is a good idea?

I saw a tweets from AW following the news of his release and it state the following

"Let this be a lesson to up and coming talent in the WWE don't try and be great like the Rock or Stone Cold. WWE isn't the same"

"To anyone that thinks I'm bad mouthing the WWE you're wrong. I love the WWE I just think they have forgotten the people that made them"

AW Twitter Feed

After seeing those comments he's right WWE isn't the same WWE has not been the same since 2001 Attitude Era is over and has been over for a considerable amount of time us as fans know it, the wrestlers know it. WWE is PG is aiming itself at children and the product that is put out now is aimed towards a much younger audience.

Stone Cold Steve Austin doesn't come out on TV in 2012 cussing and raising the middle finger anymore Steve Austin is given a script. That should tell you everything you need to know AW. The Society we are in now is a very different one to 1998 - much more media focus now than ever before and with the advent of so many forms of social media whatever you do on a national stage is magnified x1000.

There has been previous examples to this Daniel Bryan when Nexus invaded the ring on Raw for the very 1st time and Bryan choked Justin Roberts with his own tie following that Bryan was fired. Its sad to see AW go. The gimmick was just starting to get over (Until the Bryant Incident) and the primetime players were helped by what AW did however in the end AW should of known better sometimes people talk too much.

My Predictions WWE Money In The Bank 2012

My Predictions WWE Money In The Bank 2012

Pro Wrestling Report post show on Money in The Bank right after the PPV ends tune into with David Herro and Dameon Nelson with all the News, Opinion and Reaction on the PPV. Also taking your calls and thoughts on the PPV!

Well here we are a year one from the Historic Money in the Bank in 2011 where CM Punk Beat John Cena  for the WWE Title and took it away with him when he left the company and on the same event Daniel Bryan won his first Money in The Bank Ladder Match and took his first step to superstardom in the WWE. Will WWE money in the Bank 2012 live up to this one? Lets take a look

As Always what is written below is My Opinion it is written from this wrestling fans perspective :)

Money in the Bank ladder match for  WWE Championship

Big Show vs Kane vs Chris Jericho vs John Cena

The first Money in the Bank Ladder match is basically a fatal 4 way ladder match for a WWE Championship Briefcase. I must say im quite disappointed with the WWE Contract Match. Thought there would be more stars added to this match and with the added stipulation that only former WWE champions could compete in this match though WWE might include The MIz in this match (he is due to finish filming Marine 3 very soon) and maybe thought you could get a Mick Foley or Past WWE champion involved too. On the go home show of Raw we saw Big Show and Chris Jericho take on John Cena and Kane and there was the possibility that more could of been added on Smackdown but this did not happen. I have a feeling that WWE might even announce someone on the day of the PPV maybe a Rey Mysterio just feel that more need to be added to make this match a bit more unpredictable.

To be honest this match is a complete coin flip as to who will win I would like to see Chris Jericho win this as he has not had one big win since his return and think it would be fitting. However My Head Tells me that the winner of this match will be John Cena reasoning behind this is that Cena then doesn't need to be involved in the WWE title picture week to week but WWE can throw him into it whenever they like when he cashes in his briefcase.

Prediction - John Cena

WWE Championship Match
Special Referee - AJ Lee
Who will she pick ?
Cm Punk (c) vs Daniel Bryan

I must admit when this whole angle started with AJ and both CM Punk and Daniel Bryan fighting over her i could not understand it at all. I took the old school view  "let the Wrestling speak for Itself" however I have had my opinion changed. AJ has added a great element to this match an element of unpredictability and element of surprise and an element of craziness too. On the go home show on WWE Raw AJ Proposed to CM Punk then Bryan comes out and proposes to AJ! WWE have been clever as they haven't had AJ show her allegiance one way or the other she keeps the fans wondering where do her loyalties lie, Who does she really want to be with and who will she count to the mat 1-2-3 at Money in the bank?

AJ has really added to this feud and this feud has really made her into a star and a top Diva in WWE. My predication for this match is that we will have a great contest as always between Punk and Bryan and I think that AJ will show her True Colours and help Bryan to win his first WWE Championship!!!

Prediction - New Champion Daniel Bryan

World Heavyweight Title
Sheamus (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio finally gets his singles Match for the World Heavyweight Title. Del Rio always seems to have been unlucky with injuries and circumstances changing beyond his control. When He should of won at Wrestlemania vs Edge the match was changed due to Edge Career ending Injury. Then last Month he was due to face Sheamus However a Concussion ruled him out of action. For Sheamus winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania was a huge deal and winning it so quickly and in dominate fashion from Daniel Bryan. However I feel since Sheamus won the title he has had some great matches especially with Doplh Ziggler but Sheamus World Heavyweight Title run has been largely forgettable. Just feel that Daniel Bryan overshadowed Sheamus that's maybe why they moved Bryan over to Feud with CM Punk for the WWE Title. I feel that in this match we will see a new WWE champion think now is the right time to have Alberto Del Rio dominate the Smackdown Brand and be a catalyst for some new Babyface good guy characters Del Rio seems to be adding a more aggressive element to his character too which would play off well for a sympathetic good guy character

Winner and New World Champion - Alberto Del Rio

World Heavyweight Championship Money in The Bank Ladder Match

Cody Rhodes vs Dolph Ziggler vs Damien Sandow vs Tensai vs Santino vs Christian vs
Tyson Kidd vs Sin Cara

Now this will be the real main event this match has the traditional money in the bank set up with lots of young and new talent wanting to get their shot to get that Money in the bank briefcase. I like that WWE have put Damien Sandow & Tyson Kidd in the match. If you had told me a month ago that these two guys what be in the match i wouldn't of believed you but its an opportunity for both men to showcase their skills and gain some PPV and Big match experience. Two people I wouldn't of included in this match is Santino and Christian. I would of had both of these men in US and Intercontinental title matches as with only 4 matches announced for this PPV so far I think the addition matches are needed and also I feel that it makes both the US and Intercontinental titles a bit irrelevant as the perception is that those titles don't matter. This will be a great PPV match you have so many great worker involved but I can only really see two people winning this Cody Rhodes or Dolph Ziggler. Now for me I'd love to see Dolph Ziggler Win this match iv been a massive Ziggler fan for a long time and feel that the time is right for him to take the next step up. However Equally as much Cody Rhodes could do with a win here. Since Wrestlemania Cody has fallen into the background a little bit and as with Daniel Bryan last year I think a win here for Cody could give his career the "shot int he arm" that it needs.

This one is hard to pick but for me the winner of this match is

Winner - Dolph Ziggler

Jon422002 Impact Wrestling Superstars of the week

Impact Wrestling Superstars of the week

Hello All I'm back with another blog and today I thought I would give you  in my opinion. three of the Impact Wrestling Superstars of the week This is based on the Impact Wrestling that aired on Spike TV on 5th July 2012.

As Always what is written below is My Opinion I'm not a wrestler I'm a fan of Wrestling and this blog is written by this fans perspective. You may agree or disagree with me!!

With that being said lets look at my Superstars of Impact Wrestling This Week!

Austin Aries

Austin Aries Just gets better and better every time we see him he is stepping it up. Aries was not in a match this week but I really enjoyed him in his backstage segment with Hulk Hogan.
and at the end of the show with Bobby Roode and Hulk Hogan.

Austin Aries ending the show holding up the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship. Aries was great on the mic and the fans in the arena are really behind him his attitude, delivery and belief in what he says were the key to his great performance on Impact

Dakota Darsow

As Many of you who follow me on twitter (@jon422002 - Quick Plug!!!!) know I am a big fan of Dakota Darsow. I think he has lots of talent a great look and has the ability to be a premier star in the X Division in Impact Wrestling. Dakota had a match in the X division Title Tournament vs A wrestler I hadn't seen before Flip Casanova. Now I'm not a wrestler and as with everything in this blog its prefaced as My opinion  but  Flip Casanova did some questionable moves in this match once where he broke the nose of Dakota Darsow then at the finish of the match did a flip  Senton/Cannonball and landed with his full weight on Dakota's shoulder. Dakota had a great showing and also showed that he is as tough as nails - Bravery award of the week definitely goes to Dakota Darsow. I think they got the finish wrong I would much rather see Dakota Darsow advance however Dakota returns this Sunday for a last chance battle royal for a final spot in the tournament - Hope Dakota wins this he has alot of ability and I think given the chance he will show the whole world this Sunday at Destination x.

Bobby Roode

Bobby Roode Is really getting his character down. The Development has been great and it was great to the the interaction between Bobby Roode and Chris Sabin it was booby Roode at his heel-ish best! Bobby Roode has really grown on me over the past few weeks and on Impact using Chris Sabin as an illustration of what Bobby Roode says will happen to Austin Aries on Sunday was a great way of getting Roode even more heat. I have a feeling that he and Aries will have a great match Sunday and I can see Roode keeping hold of his Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship.

So ladies and Gentlemen there are my three Impact Wrestling Superstars of the week!!!

Thank for for reading Until next time
